<p>State Sen. Ben Hueso and San Diego City attorney Mara Elliott dropped their proposed changes to the California Public Records Act. Before that happened, the City Council and the mayor both announced they opposed the measure.</p>

<p>City Councilman Chris Cate joined us on the podcast this week to talk about that bill, the state of the GOP and more.</p>
